Markus Bader Smith & Mighty brought me through some ups & downs in life through the years and made a big impact on me early on. What I loved about their sound was the fact that it always remained sound system music with a street vibe that set them apart from so many, maybe more "en vogue" contemporaries. Anyone Who Has A Heart and likes Bass Is Maternal or the Ashley Road Sessions should check this one- you'll LOVE it for sure!! Thanks Rob, Ray & Peter

about

A collection of unreleased sketches, pieces and versions mostly from the late 80's.. some more 'finished' than others, recorded and mixed at Smith & Mighty's studio in Ashley Rd, St Pauls Bristol.

"As ever with their productions, it’s all about the separation of sounds – the sense of size and distance between that massively present bass and the far distant subliminal instrumentation gives a sense of immersion, plunging you into an opiated dream of future cities". - Joe Muggs
